SQUEAK.... Just making it in time.  I'm usually done before now.  But since returning from Disney I've had a pretty bad cold...BOO!  I'm slowly improving and yes there is a box of tissue on my desk to get me through. I was digging around all my metal bits and found my heart key.  I knew it was somewhere!  I distressed the key with picket fence and used some copper wire to attach a wee heart.
I attached the metal frame and distressed with more picket fence.  I cut the small movers and shapers hear with burlap and stained with some barn door.  I attached with my tiny attacher.  I don't sew! I snipped a little more burlap and attached again...without sewing.
I followed the fun technique with glue n' seal, picket fence and distress marker.
I spritzed with black soot distress marker.  Looks grungy!
Thanks for stopping in and taking a peek!  Sorry I'm so late posting. Have a great weekend!

Stampendous/ Eileen Hull ATB Blog Hop

Stampendous and Eileen Hull's Inspiration Team have joined forces combining stamping and Artist Trading Blocks for a creative Blog Hop!  If you're new to my blog welcome! These mini stamps can easily get lost with the ATB.  However, by creating a stamped background they quickly become a delicate layer.
I stamped all the way around the ATB.  Grouping these coordinating stamps was easy. I love the edging stamps!
After I stamped various stamps I layered with the Frameworks honeycomb die.  I followed the Tim Holtz technique to distress using glue and a distress marker.  I love creating this grungy look.
After I stamped I used my honeycomb ste…

Winter Blooms

I could really use some real flowers in my garden! But...I'll take some paper ones;)   Welcome Back to me!  I've been gone awhile but I'm home again...and freezing.  By now if you live in a cold part of the world you're longing for something other than snow.  This time Frilly and Funkie what to brighten your day with a "Winter Blooms" Challenge!  Use flowers in any way you want and play along for a chance to win some shopping time! I started with theEileen Hull Canister die and no idea where I was going.
I decided on an ocean theme.  (I made this before I left to Florida so I suppose warm weather was on the mind)
I used distress paint to ink the sand and sea horse.  I used my spritzer and distress marker chipped sapphire and the speckles stencil for his spots.  Then crackled. I cut the movers and shapers sand dollar then inked with antique linen distress paint.  I sprinkled some distress embossing powder to make it look sanded.
I cut some spring greenery …
