Spring on Display

I love this little Tim Holtz Watering Candie.  Then when you add the Eileen Hull Make it 3D die it makes it even more fun!  You can find my project over at Creative Scrapbooker Magazine.  Here's a tutorial so you can see how I made it.
Start with your dies and Sizzix Matboard.  This stuff is awesome for the scoreboard dies.
I cut a bunch of the Jumbo Tattered Pinecones with core paper.  The mat board takes the Ranger Distress Spray Stainsreally well!  Then I grabbed my Iced Enamels Relique Powder to create an enameled look!

Then you can ink the edges!  I used the new Ranger Splatter Brush and some Black Soot Paint to splatter over top.  Handy tool!

Now that the watering can is inked, enameled and splattered I added the Make it 3D stripes.  This die makes any of your dies 3D!  Adding more versatility to all your dies.

I started with a bunch of my dies, movers and shapers, thinlits and magnetic plate.

I cut the bunnies out with mat board then inked with seedless preserves distress spray.  Then I added my Hammered Metal powder.  I added 2 coats of powder.

I really wanted to play with the new Hammered Metal embossing powder.  Look how yummy this is... so thick!!!

I cut the In the Bag bags using Kraft Paper then stamped with the Graph background stamp.  Check out these metal bunnies!

Once the bags are built I inked the edges with ground espresso distress ink.  The handwritten celebrate words are cut with Sizzix Watercolor pattern paper and inked with wilted violet.

I wanted to try my distress crayon seedless preserve on ribbon and see the effect.  I added a s…
