Gift Wrapping with Sizzix

It's a Party on the Sizzix blog.  Check out more for a tutorial on my Gift Wrapped Box using Sizzix dies.  Including the new Stephanie Barnard It's a Party Drop-in's Framelit die.

For this How To join me over at Sizzix and transform any box into something special.

Mossy Element

Due to the fact of non stop snow I bring you... spring inspiration of bunnies!  I am dreaming of green grass, flowers budding and birds chirping.  Instead I have snow falling, the sound of shovelling and cold wind!
I am playing with my new Xyron machines and I get to drag you along while I learn and play.  I did say I would show you as I learn.  I did a quicky video of these easy cards.  It took no time to cut the pieces, ink, apply adhesive with my Create a Sticker and assemble.  So quick I made 2!

Dontcha just love moss!  You'll see it a lot... because I love it.

I love the Wild WhispersAdventure paper collection... LOVE these arrows for pattern paper.  the card is a 5x5".

The Argyle Stencil is so Easter!  I cut the mat board 2x2", gesso, distress crayons and stencil... repeat 4 times.

These are so fun and easy to make!

Thanks for popping in and I hope you find this quick card easy to make!  Creating just for fun... is fun!

Despite the shadow from my shifting camera …

Chausten

Got Candy?  Chausten wants to know.  Why are we compelled to name these Hipsters?
I have to be honest... I am not a huge fan of the Hipster stamps.   With that said I do like Goat and the monkey.  Luckily my crafty bestie Julia over at Paradise Lostbought these last week and let me do some stamping.  I just wanted to play and keep it simple and fun.  Easter is just around the corner and I had an idea.

I stamped Chausten onto the new Distress Mixed Media Tag and covered him in Distress Glaze to minimize the inking on him.  I did a simple blend of distress inks for the rest of the tag. No... I don't have the Distress Oxide inksyet!

I layered the Doily stencil andlatticerubbing off the ink between stencils with a baby wipe.  I cut the "GOT CANDY" with the Pastel Leather Paper pack and Alphanumericletters.  Use the Magnetic Platform to keep everything from shifting.  Ink the edges so they pop!

Get the placement of the letters before adhering.  I decided a little ephemera ne…

Specimen No. 5

Wouldn't we all like one of these sitting on the table. What a pretty specimen this would make. Today I am sharing a tutorial for Sizzix using the Flower Garden and Mini Bouquet.  You can get the Framelits to go with the Mini Bouquet and Flower Garden Stamps.  No fussy cutting!  Well I was going through my "Library" of dies looking for the Apothecary die and I found theBell Jar w/Pedestalfirst...so it wins!

The best part about these stamps... no cutting!  Stamp and line up the Framelit.  Every flower needs a butterfly and the Butterfly Duo w/Texture Fadeis exceptional.

The Magrnetic Platform is essential for the Framelits and Thinlits.  It helps to use a little washi to hold the famelits in place so it won't shift.  Plastic packaging is perfect for the Bell Jar glass portion.

I used the new Mixed Media #8 Distress Tags with the Flourish Texture Fade.  Once the tag is embossed I covered the tag with gesso.  While that takes a few moments to dry I hauled out the Magen…
